Annelies VandenBerg saw the need for a company that provided travel companions who could assist others in their travels, and so began Travel with Assistance.
Born and raised in the Netherlands just after WWII, she worked as a teacher for seven years before immigrating to the United States. Since then, her love of travel has brought her back to the Netherlands eleven times.
Her three children have left the nest, and she's now free to fly, too.
During the past twelve years, Annelies has cared for clients who all needed different levels of care. From companionship to 24 hour care and with clients with Alzheimer's. For those on hospice, she worked hard to make their last months as pleasant as possible.
Now she's proud to run a small company on California's Central Coast that offers hope, and opens doors that previously were closed.
